PLEASE NOTE
Before there was the Battle of the Alamo, there was the Siege of Béxar.
From December 5–9, 1835, Texian volunteers laid siege to San Antonio de Béxar, ultimately securing the surrender of General Martín Perfecto de Cos and Mexican forces. This important victory placed San Antonio under Texian control and marked a pivotal turning point in the Texas Revolution.
Join the Alamo Mission Chapter as we commemorate this significant chapter in our state's story while enjoying fellowship, a delicious luncheon, and a fascinating presentation by Celia Hayes, acclaimed author of historical fiction inspired by the people and events of early Texas.
Guests will also have the opportunity to shop the chapter's beautiful jewelry collection and browse our silent auction, making this luncheon a wonderful opportunity to find unique Christmas gifts while supporting the chapter's educational and preservation programs.
