Annual Texas History
Art Contest
Inspiring Creativity Through Texas History
The Alamo Mission Chapter proudly sponsors the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Annual Texas History Art Contest, encouraging students in Grades 1–12 to explore Texas history through original artwork.
As students research historical sites, events, and individuals from 1820 to 1850, they gain a deeper understanding of the people and events that shaped Texas while expressing their creativity and artistic talents.
The contest offers students the opportunity to showcase their work at both the local and state levels while celebrating Texas heritage through art.
