Join the Alamo Mission Chapter for our October General Meeting as we welcome a special presentation on the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word and their remarkable legacy in San Antonio.
Arriving in San Antonio in 1869, the Sisters of Charity answered a call to care for those in need during a time of epidemics and rapid growth. Their work led to the founding of Santa Rosa Hospital, the city's first hospital, and expanded to include schools, orphanages, and ministries that transformed healthcare, education, and social services throughout South Texas. Their story is one of compassion, resilience, and service that continues to shape our community today.
We invite you to join us for a seated luncheon, fellowship, and an inspiring look at one of San Antonio's most influential organizations.
Reservations are required for all meetings and include your choice of two luncheon entrées.
