Grant Background

The Alamo Mission Chapter, DRT, Amanda Fenley Webb and James E. Webb, Jr. Memorial Grant is an annual financial award given to fund projects, programs, and initiatives that preserve, interpret, and advance Texas history through education, preservation, art, and/or research, particularly those that foster community pride and engagement while expanding  public understanding and celebration of the state's diverse historical narratives.

Eligible Applicants

Any Texas registered nonprofit entity in good standing under Texas law and qualified as exempt from federal taxation under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is eligible to apply, as well as K-12 schools and postsecondary institutions.

Application

The application due date for the 2026 annual grant cycle is February 28, 2026.  Applications for the 2026 grant cycle will not be considered if submitted after 11:59pm CST on February 28, 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
